Marine Botfield obtained a Bachelor's degree in law from the University of Friborg in 2013 and a Master's degree in law from the Faculty of Advanced Commercial Studies of the University of Lausanne. During and following her studies, she was a clerk ad hoc before the District Courts of Lausanne and Eastern Vaudois. She completed her legal internship in the canton of Vaud. In 2021, she obtained her lawyer's license and then practiced at the bar in the canton of Vaud. She joined the Bourg 8 firm as a partner in 2024.
