Sophie Girardet obtained her Master in law from the University of Lausanne and Zürich in 2011 with honors magna cum laude. After having worked as an ad hoc clerk at the Labor Court of the cantonal administration, then within a major legal protection insurance company, she completed her attorney traineeship in the canton of Vaud. In 2015, she obtained her bar exam. She then practiced the bar for four years in a firm present throughout Switzerland. She joined Bourg 8 Etude d'avocats as a partner in 2019.
